I only saw bits & pieces of this game but Sumlin always does dumb shit in games.

How about leaving the field with 4th down at the Ucla 42 and the clock running at the end of the 1H. With a timeout in his pocket!!!

You call the TO with 2-3 seconds left and throw into the EZ -- it's no risk and only potential reward! And instead he just walks off the field.

I'm pissed I wasn't around to live bet this. Saw the replay and at 44-24 you could tell Ucla was going to at least get this into single digits by game's end.

Same shit as super bowl. You have a huge lead, your opponent is battling both you and the clock and the HC insists on extending the game.

Way too difficult to demand your qb not call for the ball until 2 seconds remain on the play clock.
