Yeah.....do you remember that Letterman made the Joe Theisman pencil sharpener, where his leg was in place of the crank that turns the sharpener?

I saw it and countless replays warning me to turn away. One of the most brutal sights in football. Of course I really haven't like Theisman since he changed the pronunciation of his name to rhyme with Heisman. LOL.:nohead:

I had 4 dimes on Wash -3-1/2 in that game. At the time it was the biggest wager I ever made. My recollection is that they couldn't tackle Joe Morris and Jay Shroeder (who I had never heard of) was better than Theisman. By some miracle the Skins were up 4 with 30 seconds left and it was 4th and 10 for the Giants. A DB on the Skins picked off the pass on 4th down and decides he must try and run with it, hold the ball like a loaf of bead and looking for blockers. The game was so stressful I wanted to murder him. Thankfully he didn't fumble it back to the Giants.

Don't get me wrong, I liked his style on the field and he is very knowledgeable about the game but that name change was so bush league. Laughable IMO

Napolean McCallum- his knee bent sideways almost at a right angle and almost snapped in half.

YES!!!! Thank you. It was equal to Theisman's, I think. Saw 'em both live ov tv. What ever happened to McCullum? Didn't he try to make a comeback? Hell, I'm sitting at a computer that has one of them google thangs...
