Enjoyed his broadcasts when he was under 100 years old. However, now that he is pushing 500 years old he has gone totally insane.

Thought I'd seen the last of him about a year ago when he must've smooth-talked his way into a broadcasting job on a small market.... and I watched him get calls wrong.

Turn on the Cards/Padres game and first thing I see is him get a call wrong. "And he's out!!" .... when the umpire and all scoreboards clearly showed him to be safe.

"he's out.. no he's safe... no wait, he's out.... and he's safe. .... and look at that replay they got there at the same time" .. (meanwhile replay clearly showed him safe and the coaches didn't even consider a challenge, lol)

This guy was great for a whole generation. While it is sad to see some of these Old-Timers start losing their touch, I will still take them over any of these new vanilla idiots.

You got that right pal...some games are better with the volume off. Makes you appreciate guys like Vin Scully even more.
