Only getting 3? Probably staying away from this one. I know they're better at home and certainly as an organization they got better by kicking Millen out the door but this still still sucks.

gaz I agree strange line to say the least given the sad sack performances put up by the Lions this year. Maybe they figure after 7 frickin years of ridiculous management the team will come together and celebrate that long (and I mean LONG) overdue dismissal.

In stuckinvegas' bookie challenge thread everyone of the top bookies picked Detroit over Chicago. I get the feeling I don't get something here because I think the Bears maul this team.

I like the Bears, but the injuries to their starting cornerbacks and Harris' one-game suspension are worrying versus a Lion's offense that will need to pass to compete in this game.

Bears offense gets an upgrade facing Detroit pitiful defense this Sunday. If Chicago plays anywhere near as well as they did against Philly they cover.

Detroit's lack of talent, especially on defense is truly amazing.

Agreed. I still have Chicago as a td favorite even with injury considerations. Brandon Lloyd and Marty Booker at WR are also in bad shape for Chicago. It can be hard to gauge how a mini-clusterf*** of injuries at the skill positions will affect a game.

Just want to say also that IMO Detroit is not in a good mental state - granted this just from hearing a few players comments on local Detroit sportstalk. Roy Williams is just a box of rocks but he sounds like he is no way upset at being the laughingstock of the league or that he the least bit motivated to live up to his potential. Just a fucked up franchise.
