First off I would like to say, I started betting NBA for the first time after the Superbowl. For a bit of fun I thought I would throw a few quid on some of the plays of posters I knew to be money-on people in this Forum. However, fun turned to serious with their strike rate and I would like to thank Hansen and Occams primarily and others to a lesser degree for their contributions to both my Daughters Uni fees. I would also like to thank the posters who gave me the reasons to bet The Pistons for the Championship. Because of them, I have bet them for 10k at odds of 20/1 to 12/1 and am in the process of hedgeing back, if they win the next series, I will have them 5k to nothing.

Without going into everything, I got the impression NY have been slow starters in their regular season games, whereas Detroit seemed in their last series against Milwacky(as Occam would say)to attack early as opposed to their supposed strength. With that in mind, I think the -3 1st half looks outstanding regardless of the outcome.

Please feel free to call me a complete idiot, as I have said, I know nothing in BB.

Of course, if Hansen or Occams say different, all bets are off. Thanks again to everyone who contributed to this Forum, I hope I can return the effort in the NFL next season.

Ah, my light hearted fellow from across the pond with such a dry sense of humor. Very good to see you here. Sounds like you are doing well and this oldman simply wanted to welcome you and wish you all the best as you undertake the world of the NBA. Here's hoping you have a very successful playoff run.

no offense intended but milwaukee dominated detroit in the first half of just about every game of the series.
detroit pulled away when it mattered, in the 2nd half.

New York, New Jersey, you know what I mean.

Thanks Ted, may I take this opportunity to clarify my feelings towards you. I consider you a great asset to this Forum and second to none in your help and honesty when posting. My posts in your threads were aimed to not make a mountain out of a mole-hill, as one poster said, we all have losing days. Best to put it behind us than dwell on it, in my experience that only leads to negative thoughts.

Game, you are 100% correct and I am probably 100% wrong but I think it was that way because of Detroits mind set of attacking and New Jersey seems to me to be slow coming out of the traps in games.
