going with the three goalies, it's hard to say for sure. He was up last night and looked good, maybe just stuck with a hot hand or gut feeling. It'll be intresting to watch this thing for the season. Later.

Beginners luck. There is a reason he wasnt up to the big team instead of the other two guys.

I'd say, if anything, this shows why Edmonton would carry three goalies.

Of course, no matter how good he was, they were not going to put either Roloson or Garon on waivers, as they both have good trade value, while also being solid veterans.

I don't see why Edmonton won't move a guy like Roloson to a desperate team in the East (and there are several). Deslauriers is clearly ready to at least assume the backup role. Roloson is also a UFA at season's end who makes $3 million more than Deslauriers.

With Edmonton only ~2.8 mil under the cap right now, this could free up room to go after a player near the deadline.

Mac T is rotating them Win and your in. Don't be surprised if he rides the hot hand again. Or else he would have started Garon against the Blue Jackets a few nights ago instead of Roloson. Garon was 6-1-1 against CBJ lifetime and they didn't start him.
