There is not as much early speed in this race as I initially thought.However because of the draw a couple of horses,namely Limehouse and Quiton are gonna have to commit to the front.This will at least keep the fractions semi honest.Lion Heart has the perfect post which may help him carry the distance.
Here's how I see race running.Out of the gate Lion Heart goes to lead,followed by Lime house Quinton's Gold Rush and Pollard's Vision.2nd tier will be Master David,Smarty Jones Wimbledon,Footnotes and Borrego.Just back of them St Averil and Castledale. Then Friend's Lake.Minister Eric,Song Of the Sword .Then the rest settling in off the pace trying to save ground.Tapit and The Edge should be near the back.At the half,which I am guessing is run around 47.2 Lion heart still in the lead.Smarty Jones is starting to move up at this point,as well ass Footnotes and wimbledon.At the far turn Quinton is starting to fade.It is now Lion Heart in the lead,followed by limehouse and Smarty Jones.Wimbledon,Borrego and footnotes are just off them.Castledale and Imperialism are starting to move forward.And from the back of the pack,The Edge and Tapit are starting to move.
Top of the stretch,Lion heart still in lead followed by Smarty jones.Limehouse is fading.Wimbledon,Footnotes and Borrego are just behiond them.Castledale and Imperialism just aren't firing.The Edge is picking off horses and moving much better than Tapit.And Down the stretch they come!Smarty Jones passes lion heart who is still running gamely.Wimbledon ,Footnotes and Borrego are all closing.The Edge is now picking up ground rapidly.From this point on its anybody's guess,I say footnotes get Smarty at the wire,followed by Wimbledon and Lion Heart.Edge Moving big but runs out of track.Borrego just doesn't have enough.
I am gonna spread some money around which is something I rarely do.This race is so much of a crap shoot I see no alternative.I am gonna play a four horse boxed exacta,Footnotes,Wimbledon,Lion Heart and Smarty Jones.Also Footnotes across the board,substantial,Wimbledon acroos the board for less.Also a small atb bet on Birdstone.Why,Because for some reason the horse intrigues me at a large price.
One last note,if I was able to watch the tote board on Sat,my play may very well change.I implore you guys not to get on or off a horse because of my ananlysis.In a race like this one person's opinion is no better or worse that someone else's,GOOD LUCK TO ALL!! Let's cash some tickets.
