I though Hence over Patch was a layup but Patch has been bet down from 30-1 to 13-1.
A lightly run horse running from the 20 post , with no left eye to add to his troubles.

thats the worst underlay in the entire race, people betting on him bc he has 1 eye, great story and i love horses but i wouldnt not bet a cent on that horse at those odds.

the best overlay of the race is j boys echo at 45-1 currently.

Im not a huge Patch fan either, but this is horse racing..As far as Matchups they are moving like crazy today.

I've studied pedigrees for over 50 yrs and a lot of my classic distance handicapping puts considerable weight on pedigrees. I have yet, in all these years, to see a pedigree with Mr P mares in the G dam positions in the pedigree get 10f or more. That leaves Patch out or it will be a first for me!
