Not really defending the cop, but can anyone simply follow rules or have any respect for authority?

Gotta agree.

I have kids but i treat them to respect ppl.

Most of these lil brats these days are just the opposite.

If you ever drive in a school zone area, where kids have just gotten off of a bus, take notice how they walk right in the middle of the street, won't move, and just dare you to hit them...

My parents would've beaten my ass when I got home for being a disrespectful little prick. Probably would've bought the cop dinner.

Hell of a post Mr. E. Damn strong!
I would have begged for the cop to drag me out rather than wait for my Dad to get a hold of me after
disrespecting my classmates, teachers, principal and school.

Black Behavior Matters..........just like ALL behavior matters. Ain't difficult for most but seems an attitude
for too many.

They should. The cop was assaulted by being pushed in the chest and punched in the face several times by a disobedient not giving a damn teen whose parents are most likely just as responsible for the kids behavior by their crappy upbringing...

You know I usually can't stand excessive force but the girl was asked to leave by a teacher, an assistant principal, and the principal. Then the cop continued to ask her then when he went to remove her she started swinging at him. Maybe a tad excessive but not sure what he was supposed to do in that situation. If someone swings at me, it's gonna piss me off too.

If a cop can't take a punch from a girl who is sitting down he should be fired for that alone.

If she refuses to leave you what are you supposed to do in that situation??

Take your paycheck and your pension and your summer vacation and just watch her act like a fool instead of risking your job.

I would be willing to bet that everyone in that classroom learned more from this event than any lecture on graphing linear equation.

Look at the situation as a whole guys, don't try to cherry pick parts.

Student was disruptive, requested to leave multiple times, when forced to leave - she attacked the officer who subdued her and officer controlled the situation and removed her from the class room.

What is the problem here?

Think about what you're saying. What you're describing is assault on a cop and can't be tolerated or the misbehavior continues.

Good point. I'm sure all behavior problems from that student are forever over.

He could have simply moved a half step away as she was sitting in a desk, but then she wouldn't have been taught a lesson, and that's what school is for.

Not at all and not the point. To say a cop should be able to take a punch by a teen simply because they're a teen is asinine.

Not a teen, a girl. Who was sitting at a desk.

We've all had someone take a swing at us. Some of us had it happen where if we slammed the other person we would have lost our jobs. So we didn't do it.

A 16-year-old with an iPhone in class and when the teacher asked her to put it away, she refused. Principal and cop both ask her nicely and she refused. Who the hell parents these days. Little brat got exactly what she deserved.

If you're going to pick nits out of shit at least get your reading comprehension straight

Not sure what your point is. Condoning anyone punching a cop man or woman is just dumb. You just don't put your hands on other people especially cops. Hope she got her ass whipped at home. How's that for reading comprehension?

Why not just pull the desk out into the hallway and let the class continue?
