I've never had a problem with it, it's how I usually deposit into neteller. like Curt said if you want it there by the weekend for football make your deposit no later than monday afternoon. it will clear your bank on tues but won't show in your neteller acct until friday. how do you usually deposit into neteller fishead? instacash, wire?
The 8.9% fee is if you do an InstaCash deposit directly into your Neteller account. If you use the merchant's site, i.e. an offshore book that uses Neteller, you can have the funds directly deposited within seconds directly from your bank account, if certified, for as low as no fee when using WSEX, or some other fee from outs like Pinnacle, Olympic, WWTS, etc. Just read the fee structures at any particular book. You can then transfer those funds back to your Neteller account for as low as no fee, once again depending on the book. Your bank account must be certified. Limits from your bank account will start at $750 for a 7 day period, but you can easily get it raised to the level you want through making regularly deposits over time, thereby achieving your desired level of instant deposit. Otherwise, depositing 5K into your Neteller account will take 4-5 days as most have stated. Certifying your account and having access to InstaCash at no fee through the offshore book is a great option to have. Make deposits each week for a month or so and you will have nice instant access to depositing your funds and not have to wait 4-5 days.
