Denver will be the favorite and the books are going to get crushed with Denver money. eventhough Seattle matches up pretty well against the pass, the bettors' minds will come down to 'Manning vs. Wilson' when push comes to shove.
even sharps will be on Denver at basically a ML -110 price and that's where the books will really be in trouble.
yep, the 'public hate' angle will be huge against Seattle now and of course Manning is the golden boy. i don't see anyone outside of Seattle rooting for the Hawks here, especially after today's antics.
the books are already getting crushed with Denver money. they could've got the same action by making Denver a solid -3'/-4 favorite. now they've backed themselves into a corner and will need an enormous bail out by the Hawks.
personally, i hope Seattle wins, but not in a million years would i book this game below at least two key numbers like they're doing. i would actually want some balanced action regardless of the outcome.
