Denver vs Lakers

Anyone think this could be the West conf championship?

Will they run into each other in a potential semi final?

I know the top eight arent set yet by far a couple teams have same records.

Every time I think a team (Jazz, Spurs, etc) looks like theyre gonna be the other West finalist, they suffer a big injury or start to look very mediocre so I don't know what to think. If tonight Denver can continue their great play lately, then I'll be inclined to say Denver is for real. But til then I'll reluctantly go with Houston if the seeding works out correctly.

What do you think?

1. Billups AKA Mr Big shot is a master at the point.
2. Carmelo potential to be a superstar and get 30 anytime.
3. Very nice fontline with Nene, Kmart, the Birdman, all rotating.
4. I like Linas Klesa off the bench along with JR Smith as great scorers off the bench..

Ya my one concern is the bench and a little bit on the defense. They play better D overall from last year but I don't know if its good enough to win 2 tough series in the playoffs. While the bench is above average (also like Kleiza), JR Smith is basically a starter because he gets most of the minutes and all the important minutes at SG. I'd like them more if they had one more solid guard that would knock Dahntay Jones outta the rotation altogether...

J Kidd is killing it. On all levels of basketball having a floor general who can run the show is huge. Very few teams can be succesful without having a super point guard. Billups is a master.

I want to see the BIRDMAN going against BYNUM and GASOL.

He was swatting Boozers shots the other day that game was on TV.

Nuggets were dumb to trade Camby they would have had a nice rotation upfront

I'd love for Lakers to face Denver in the Finals. That would be a great matchup for LA. Hopefully Lakers play Dallas, Houston, Denver. That would be the perfect Western Conference Playoff bracket. But most likely Lakers will play Utah first round, and Denver is suspect to surpass the first round.

You are crazy. Denver went to Dallas last week and beat them at thier own house. Dallas can't match up with the Nuggets. In fact they won 7 of the past 8 meetings vs. the Mavs. Swept them this season.

a 7seed upset is very possible for denver as well.
