UNDERDOGS have fared well in the Super Bowl recently, covering in 6 of the past 7 opportunities (last
season's game doesn't factor in since it closed as a pick). Taking it a step further, since 2002 favorites
of 5 points or more are a money burning 1-6 against the spread in the SB with the only team to cover
in this span being Manning's Colts.

Clover: If I were a "betting man" (LOL) I would take the points in a situation like this. Defenses have a tendency to "Gang-Up" on high-profile QB's and Newton
is definitely in that category, especially in games like this. Conversely, if the Carolina defense rises to the occasion, which they could do, it would take the Denver defensive "advantage" out of play which would allow them to win by 3 or 4. Hence, I like the points. Either way, it should be a good football game to watch which is our first love. Good luck to you, which-ever way you go my friend......
