Own my own business and am most likely going with MVP for my medical but does anyone have other suggestions (especially for dental)...I can't seem to find anything good

SA, I've been self employed for 25 years and only in past ten years have I had access to dental insurance via the SheBar's corporate group insurance.

Even that's pretty marginal and representative of most dental insurance. It allows for $1200 a calendar year in work in exchange for about $250 a year in premiums.

We actually dropped me off the plan about 18 months ago and consider it best to simply "self insure" for dental work.

I have never spent a penny on dental insurance in my life(professional gambler). I have my teeth cleaned three times a year and that does the trick. I haven't had any dental work in over 20 years. Good Luck

self insuring for dental doesn't sound like a bad plan unless (like me) you need to remove wisdom teeth...

Id rather not pay 2k to get teeth pulled??? maybe if it came with a blowjob but I highly doubt that it will sooooo...im looking

even if you nutted up at paid the 2k you still would probably save yourself in the long run just worrying about medical coverage. MVP was the least expensive and covered most my needs

SA, unless you have a credit history that is overly troublesome, I bet most local oral surgeons would do the job for half down and an agreeable six to twelve month payment plan on the balance.

I'm right on the verge of finally getting about $2000 of restoration myself.

Will be getting my remaining eight battered uppers removed and a good quality upper plate molded.

Had the other eight uppers removed for about $1000 in 2006 and it was only that much because most were in need of surgical extraction.

Will be great to be able to do a full smile again after muting my grin for past three years due to my hockey style grill.
