I had (Oakland) Curry +10' ... That Prop was graded a loss by one book I had...

My Other Prop was (Denver) Smith -8' ... That Prop was cancelled... maybe, because I never saw Curry play for Oakland... Did Curry ever play ???

Shouldn't I call and complain Monday Morning about Curry not playing (if that's true??) Who knows at TheRX??? :icon_conf

I wouldn't worry about it until mid-morning tomorrow. Skeleton grading crew stuck doing the late Sunday night junk.

If it's a misgrade, it should be fixed pretty early in the AM.

According to the official stats Curry played, though I didn't recall seeing him and he didn't catch a pass or anything:

http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20061015_OAK@DEN

A lot depends on how the book in question words the prop you bet--some books put up a phrase like "both players must play for action". I know The Greek words their props this way. If they did it more restrictively--like "both players must catch pass for action" you might be screwed.

In this situation, the official NFL game stats indicate that Curry played (albeit very little) so even if the have a "both players must play" provisio on the prop you should have been paid on one side and lost on the other.

Good luck to ya!

I was on the other side of that same prop, and I was surprised to see it graded as a win. Apparently Curry did play, although I'm not sure if he was involved in any plays. He didn't recieve any passes, but I believe Pinny's (where I played it) rules are if a pass was even intended for him, the wager stands.

Pinny's rule no. 10 under football:

For all Football Propositions involving statistics for a player, that player must have at least one passing attempt (QB) or rushing attempt (RB), or the wager will be considered No Action.

So I guess the play in the last post is the "one passing attempt" needed to make the wager stand, assuming you played at Pinny.

The language is a bit odd, since they don't explicitly mention WR's, so I'd still try to contact them tomorrow to see what's up. Just don't get my W cancelled! ;-)
