Well, we knew it was going to be Hillary, even back in '04 as the presumptive NOM.

Personally favored a couple of moderate Dems, Evan Bayh, and Harold Ford.

I think Bayh stayed out of it because he was going to ultimately become Hill's running mate. Course, that didn't happen.
