BREAKING NEWS: Fox News projects Republicans Cory Gardner, above, will win Senate seat in Colorado, Steve Daines will win in Montana, and Pat Roberts will win re-election in Kansas, putting the GOP on the verge of taking control of the Senate from the Democrats.

I think this was a vote against Obamacare more than anything else. Most people really hate it, and liberals are in denial if they think it's great. Lets get Rand Paul in the white house, and let the unfucking of the country really start.

I congratulate Sen McConnell, who will become Majority Leader. Voters made clear they want us to work together. I stand ready to do that.

Every single time dims get the shit kicked out of them, the first thing they say is "it's time to work together." Funny, I heard nothing of the sort during Obamacare.

Dims, get fucked. Every last one of you.

Obama is close to ruining the entire Democratic party, he won't comprimise with the new Republican Congress. If he tries his Executive orders crap to circumvent Congress especially on open borders & amnesty the Democratic Party will be in shambles.

[h=1]Politics: Alaska looks like another GOP pickup[/h]

Begich won't concede but the numbers say it's over.
We ended last night looking at a net Republican pickup of seven Senate seats, meaning the fewest possible Republicans in the new majority would be 52. Alaska returns come in late, of course, and it often takes time to finalize them because it's not easy collecting all the results from remote areas of the Last Frontier.
But as of now, with 100 percent of precincts reporting but a few stray ballots still to be counted, it looks like Republican Dan Sullivan has defeated incumbent Democrat Mark Begich. Sullivan leads by about 8,000 votes, and all that remains is to count about 20,000 absentee ballots. Given the trend of the rest of the state, it's hard to imagine Begich takes the absentee ballots by a margin of 14,000 to 6,000 and ties it up, but I guess that's what he's banking on in refusing to concede.
