beautiful day here in so cal. wish i could make it out to the track. here's some plays.

r1: exploited. w stute is having a good meet down here this year and exploit is a very good win early sire. this field isn't that tough, and i'm backing a firster with a hot trainer.

r3: flying heart. at 5/1 on the morning line, this is a very good value play in an empty cal bred maiden special. new water, who is coming from claimerville looks to have the best chance to upset, but demand a price on whomever you back in here. 'heart has been training forwardly and i look for him to move up here for sahadi.

r6: snoqualmie ridge. backing the seldom played litt/puglisi combo in this claiming race for 3 yo fillies. none of these are destined for stakes or even allowance company anytime soon, so 12/1 is a good gamble on a filly who is making her first start in six months, off the claim for the underrated litt barn.

r7: belleski. i absolutely love this filly. this one is headed up the ladder and comes off a much much better than looked third last time out at hollywood. best of all, i get 6/1 in a race where the only other horse i really fear is southern oasis, who should bounce back big time from her sub-par hollywood form. best bet of the day by far.

good luck on the pick-6 today; snowqualmie ridge is a big longshot, so i wouldn't lose any sleep. i would be worried about the seventh, although you have two chalk horses, including the frankel trained spring star, who figures no better than 6/5 in the 7th.

well, belleski makes the lead in a weirdly run race- espinoza doesn't ask her until arabic song has all the momentum and is in full flight for the wire. belleski digs in and runs second. this filly will be MUCH better served with a stalking trip next time out. do you hear me espinoza? a stalking trip. if you're going to go to the lead, open up on the turn and sprint home, don't wait on horses. enough venting. see everyone tomorrow.

was at ebro greyhound track in florida wednesday. Made it in time for Del Mar's 7th, took the winner from Ireland with Nakatani on it at 8/1 and it almost paid 10-1. Only had $5 on it though, stayed for 9 greyhound races, didnt cash a ticket. Saw a $500 trifecta with a 2/1 over a 5/2 over a 8/1, the pools are so wacked out.
