After a loosing tuesday looking for a strong weekend. especially sunday should be a good card.
Record so far this season: 55-30 (+30.22 units)

First of all, i've to tell you my experience with defending champion Köln. I got the chance to visit their home draw on tuesday against Krefeld in Köln arena. and i was shocked..it was the most boring hockey game i ever saw.
No blame on Krefeld, they were the away team, a heavy dog and waiting for the one big opportunity (which they actually got), but Köln the defending champion and currently number two team in league has shown absolutely no effort to score. The game ended 1-1. Both goals by big defense mistakes. You could already say after 30 min, that both teams were playing for a draw.it has been like a soccer match.
Seeing that, i looked closer in the home/away statistics of Köln and tried to analyse it:
Köln got more points away than at home. They are only the 6th best home team in league, while beeing by far the best away team (away they got more than a half point/game more than the third best away team).
If you look at their home result, there are a lot of very close, low scoring games.often ending in a tie.
The reason for that is simple. having in mind that their coach this year is hans zach (the national-team coach) and knowing him from many years coaching in Düsseldorf it's no surprise.
KÖLN IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSIVE MINDED TEAM.
They play defense first, defense second, and then if there is a chance try to win by fast breaks...no matter where they play or who they play.
That results in good away results, where the home-teams (like it normally is attack).
Away games are perfectly fitting into this defense/fastbreak tactic.
In home games like on tuesday, they are defending and it seems like they are saying "come on away team, you got to attack, so we can beat you". But away teams like krefeld just dont do that, which often result in boring, low scoring games, often not in favor for Köln.
Conclusion for me is: Stay away from Köln in home-games,unless the price is really great

Friday'S games:

Hamburg-Augsburg: Hamburg to win (1.65) for 2 units

Hamburg could not win at home on tuesday against closest rival for last play off spot Iserlohn. But today they are facing a far weaker away team in augsburg. Augsburg is realistically out of play-off contention, playing for nothing special anymore. They are comeing off a high emotional 6-5 away loss against local rival augsburg, which should lead to a let down tonight. Hamburg on the other hand know how big a win tonight is for them.they need to get back the HOME-momentum they had before the all star break. Arena is already sold out since 5 days and i'm looking for a fairly easy home win.

Schwenningen-Mannheim: Mannheim to win (1.7) for 1 unit
Mannheim won all 3 matches this year. They are fighting in a close race for one of the top spots, getting off a good start with tuesday'S win. This team is always a title contender and i expect them to build up some momentum during the last games of regular season. They will get the away win tonight against the league worst team schwenningen. Schwenningen in heavy financial problems is simply not winning. They got no regulation win in last 13 games and it should be no diferrence against a superior and focused Mannheim tonight.

BOL to all
