Baltimore reporting they are in serious talks with the future HOF'er...

What took him so long to realize he was bored?

"Prime time, prime time , prime time"

You can have him...he looked old on Washington. I hope he's in Purple for the Halloween spectacular Journey!

Deion Sanders is contemplating whether to make a comeback with the Baltimore Ravens as the team's fifth defensive back, according to The Baltimore Sun newspaper, citing an unnamed source said a decision from Sanders is not imminent. However, a return by Sanders — who recently turned 37 — would address the biggest need on a defense with a reputation as one of the league's best.

A seven-time Pro Bowl choice, Sanders is one of the top cornerbacks in NFL history. But he has been retired from football for three seasons.

"As far as I know, Deion Sanders is retired," Ravens coach Brian Billick said. "That kind of takes him off our radar. If he decides to unretire, like any number of other teams, we would be interested."

When he retired before the 2001 season, Sanders reportedly told the Redskins he was retiring because he could not perform up to his own standards. His rocky relationship with then-Redskins coach Marty Schottenheimer also aided Sanders' decision.

Sanders, the only pro athlete to play in the World Series and the Super Bowl, last talked about returning to football with the playoff-bound Raiders in December 2002. But the Chargers essentially blocked the move by claiming him off waivers.

Sanders might have better reasons to return for a 13th NFL season. For one, even a part-time role would allow "Prime Time" to possibly play for a Super Bowl ring. He would also get the chance to play with linebacker Ray Lewis and cornerback Corey Fuller, supposedly two of his closest friends.

I will take Deion baby over that loser Owens Sporty buddy!

Deion will roam the secondary, return punts, pick off a few balls...and dance all over the place...

Hey, atleast he can maybe give Ray Lewis dance lessons!

Sportsbet,
You weren't one of those callers to WIP over the weekend crying that the Eagles need to get rid of McNabb or Reid were you? I've never laughed so hard in my life. How many fans will be so confused this Friday they will start chanting, We want AJ!! Last week every Eagle fan thought 14-2 or better. Now after they lose a meaningless pre-season game, half the people now think they are Arizona. Trust me Journey, Eagle fans are the worst. They are passionate, but they hop on and off the bandwagon on a daily basis.

Jacks my bandwagon is warm and fuzzy

We're just a tough group of fans and we expect our team to work their tails off on the field and not look pathetic like they did up at Gillette. I like Andy...and I like Dono...but not all Eagles fans share my outlook for the current regime.

Johnson's defense is not easy to learn...so I don't blame the D for the problems they had in game one against the Super Bowl Champs. I think they will be fine when it's time to start it up. We were never lights out in preseason anyways.

When you listen to the WIP expect nothing less than the drama. The get rid of Reid and McNabb callers have been there before and I just let it go in one ear and out the other. As long as Dawkins still wears the Eagle green I'm happy.

Second game Schmidt hits a game winning grandslam and the place went bonkers.....I had never seen anything quite like that ....

Sporty buddy...

when T.O. plays Balto...he will look like Paul Owens , not Terrell! (being from philly you may remember Paul?)

We will shut him down again, last year he had like 3 catches 40 yrds lol @ Balto

LOL Balto...oh you mean our south suburb
icon_wink.gif

and you meant Ray Lewis will look more like Jerry Lewis trying to make a tackle when TO makes the catch across the middle and breaks it for an 80 yard TD

Once again the Ravens will wish they could call a TO!

Well the Phils all I can say is:

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

It's their own fault but the injuries have caught up with this team (and the horrible lineups, the horrible relief pitching, the horrible hitting, the horrible defense...at least the starters are ok).

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

It's no wonder the E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! chants are in full force at the end of the Phillies games.

BTW we threw it in 83 (felt sorry for the O's) and the Super Bowl was against the G-Strings so can you really call it a great Super Bowl victory?

Besides....who wants crab cakes...I want my cheesesteaks!

So is there any truth to the rumor that the Ravens practice today was at Billick's house? I heard Mr. Ego had the team cleaning the garage and waterproofing the deck.

How many cheese steaks does Andy Reid eat?

And is it true McNabb is on the same diet..

Donovan is borderline chunky ...
icon_rolleyes.gif

Do the Ravens even have a QB anymore
icon_wink.gif
. I figure Billick will be telling us all how he should be the QB by what week 6?

McNabb's not chunky...he just likes Chunky soup. I prefer to call his bulkup a durability increase.

Well our coach could fold your coach into an Auntie Anne pretzel...now the official pretzel of the Philadelphia Eagles.
