I saw Yao Ming play about a week ago, and oh my god does he suck. This guy is as soft as my penis lately. I mean he can't out-rebound guys a foot shorter. I challenge anyone to find anyone more over-rated than him.

Vin Baker. I say give Yao some time to develop. What the Rockets really need is better inside play, alongside Yao. In particular, they need Maurice Taylor to step up and perform like the Rockets expected when they paid big money for him 3 years ago. The Rockets also miss the suspended Eddie Griffin at Power forward, in a the West where Power Forwards are very strong, this hurts them on offense especially. I like Jeff Van Gundy and expect the Rockets to make the playoffs after a 5 year abscense.

I'll go a little obscure and go with Derek Fisher.

Payton is proving that (surprise!) it is possible to get some assists when you play the point on a team with Shaq & Kobe - a concept that to this day eludes the Fish.

Yao Ming is not over-rated.

this season he averages 17.2 points and 10.1 rebounds.

17.2 pts + 10.1 rebounds!!!

that's pretty close to the exclusive 20-10 club where you find nothing BUT big names like Kevin Garnette, Shaq Oneal, Tim Duncan.

if he didn't play with steve francis and mobley (two huge ball hogs)
he would have easily avg 25 pts at least.

How about Iverson, how pathetic is it that he scores 30 points a game, but often on 25 shots? On top of that he is a defensive liability.

For the most worthless player around, no doubt about it Jason Williams. The Grizz are winning like never before with him out of the lineup, that ought to make it obvious.

Michael Jordan, how many 13-41 from the field nights can he have? A hard glance was a foul so he's go 13-14 from the line to get his 40 points. Yawn.

Oh that's right he already retired. Yeah I'd go with A1.

I think the most over rated player in the league for the past four years is SCOTTIE PIPPEN.

People say Vin Baker and I agree to a certain degree. I am a Sonic fan and after his first year with the sonics he's been garbage. The thing about that is that everyone knew that. People were saying that he slipped off years ago.

Scottie Pippen could only win in Chicago which coincidently had the best player in the late 80's and 90's (M.J). On a team with Houston and Portland he could not do nothing, no real leadership just complaining about the team. The thing is he wanted to go to Houston and Portland. Then when they start failing its everyone's fault but his. As i told my friends he may be playing but he's been retired for YEARS.

Well, I have a name, how about the pistons first round pick and second overall?
I mean, for a kid that was supposed to come and fill the last piece of the puzzle to dominate the weak East, he hasn't even scored a point so far, I know that it's mainly because the coach ain't putting him to play, but he must have a reason, and in the loss to the Cavaliers he showed why by missing an open dunk.
Peolple talk about Lebron being over rated, i say look one spot behind him in the draft

McGrady - he was once lumped in with the league's 3 superstars (Shaq, Duncan & Kobe) - he is good but he is no where near these guys.

Hey DonB

Larry Brown has a history of not giving rookies playing time. I don't think that it really is anything about his skills or potential. I think if Carlisee was still coach he would have given Milicic playing time. I just don't think that Brown would have the patience to work with him patiently, on a team that is already a Championship contender.

And with Lebron he is not Over-Rated. He will be amongst the top five players (maybe even number one) in the next 3- 4 years. The thing with him is that he is Over-Hyped. They expect him to do all these things now. He is not even 20 yet people, give him time.

Lebron or Anthony were never a doubt for me, and as you said, i agreed that for Milicic it was palying time, but did you see that guy play garbage time????

He sure isn't giving Brown a reason to put him into games either, on the other hand, just like Lebron, he is just a kid.
While on picking on kids, how about Kwame Brown of the Wizards, he was a # 1 pick.

Yeah I hear you Don B. I have not really seen Milicic play at all just the stats. So I can see your point from actually watching him play. The thing with garbage time though is that most of the time those guys are hogging the ball going for layups not really setting up plays. Plus the BIG point he's European he will need some time to adjust. People are hoping for the next Dirk Novitzki, but that guy is in a league of his own. I don't see another European star like him coming for a few more years.

As for Kwame I have him in my fantasy basketball league and he is playing quite well recently. The guy reminds me of Jermaine Oneil. It took that guy years before he became a solid top 5 PF (got him on my team to hehe). I remember that I thought that he was one of the biggest busts in the last decade. But I was wrong on that. I think Kwame is coming into his own now. And even though he was the number 1 pick, it was pretty much a weak draft.
