Please go away.
I'm tired of your face and your noodle arm makes me sick.

Yes it does. I've been told before the athletes themselves are usually the last ones to know that they're past their prime and need to retire...

Kinda sad, my favorite player since I was teenager. Just physically can't play anymore, he's been one of the great ones

Guy was one of the best ever, albeit in an era when it was much easier to pass the ball.

Still, one of the greats for a long time.

Lol Peyton's not old. Maybe by NFL standards but he's not an old man. Though he's about as crippled as Namath so...

Yes, very sad to see his decline. Same feeling as Michael Jordan in Washington or Tiger Woods recently. Upset Peyton couldn't win one more SB. Never quite had the rt combo of run gm & "D" to win more than that one. If DEN just had this yr's "D" 2 & 3 yrs ago I think they could've beaten SF & SEA.

He does have the throwing shoulder injury that's obviously affecting him too. His playing days are definitely done, but his record when he starts vs when he doesn't is all you need to look @ to be impressed. Taking 2 different teams & 3 different HC's to SBs is pretty damn impressive too.

He was talking about by football standards obviously. You can see his age on the field tonight. He had a great game a couple times back and gave me a gimmer of hope but it was just an oasis in the desert. He looked as bad tonight as I've ever seen. I never expected that kind of performance.

Will he start next game is the question? I think they announce that he has an injury to save face.

at this point i dont see how he doesnt retire after this year...i know he's a competitor and all...but he's got all the money in the world and much more to come whether he plays football or not. won his sb, broke alot of records. why risk an injury that could prevent you enjoying your later years while your skill set has diminished.

Guy is a legend. No sane person would say otherwise. But seriously, the guy needs to hang it up. Favre was just the same. Yes, we know you were great. But it's all over now....
