Dear Kanye,
You’ve got a new album out, and need to promote it by shouting off your legendarily loud mouth.
I get it.
Only this can possibly explain your recent behaviour, which has been ridiculously offensive even by your standards.
I’ve been a long-time admirer of yours. I think you’re a brilliantly talented musician and one of the great characters of the global entertainment industry.

There’s a fine line between being entertainingly outrageous, and just being repellent, and in the past two weeks Kanye West, seen here Thursday, has more than crossed that line

You’re controversial, polarising, and speak your mind. Nothing wrong with that, I’m exactly the same.
But there’s a fine line between being entertainingly outrageous, and just being repellent, and in the past two weeks you’ve not just crossed that line, you’ve smashed it to smithereens in your desperation to offend.
This bizarre process began with your ridiculous spat with fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa, where in a grotesque misunderstanding of something he’d tweeted, you went on a Twitter rampage in which you gratuitously insulted his wife, your former girlfriend Amber Rose, by calling her a gold-digging stripper.
Worse, you dragged his little son Sebastian into it too, in a quite despicable manner, inferring he wouldn’t even exist if you hadn’t ditched his mother.
I wrote then that you had behaved in a ‘pathetic, petty and woefully insensitive’ manner by using a man’s child to humiliate him.

Kanye's Twitter craziness started last month with a 'misunderstanding' which led to a prolonged attack on rapper Wiz Khalifa and the mother of his child, Amber Rose. Rose used to date Kanye

Part of his rage, which he later deleted, included calling Rose a stripper who trapped Wiz by having a child

Then earlier this week he tweeted this about Bill Cosby, seemingly unprompted. It has not been deleted

But that, it turned out, was just the warm-up act to your main performance of quite breath-taking crassness.
Three days ago, you suddenly tweeted, for no apparent reason: ‘BILL COSBY IS INNOCENT!!!!!!’
Something that literally nobody else on Planet Earth believes.
In fact, I seriously doubt even Bill Cosby believes it.
By informing your 18.6 million followers of this sentiment, you also effectively informed them that the 50 women who have so far come forward to claim Cosby drugged, raped or abused them are all fakes.
You’re implying they’ve all made up their stories to smear a once revered national icon. Yes, every one of those 50 women is a liar apparently.
As so often, you offered no explanation for your incendiary comment.
You just stuck it out to ignite a media firestorm and help flog your new record.
I’m sure there must have been a more shameless, disgraceful exploitation of serious sexual assault in the history of the music industry, I just can’t off hand think of one.
Today, you shifted your line of attack to yet another woman, Taylor Swift.

Then on Thursday it emerged during Kanye's fashion show and album stream that a lyric to Famous, one of the tracks on your new album, contains this line: ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. I made that b*tch famous’

After stealing her thunder years ago at the VMAs, Kanye had sent Taylor this bouquet of flowers. The peace had been settled, but then came the lyric that was misogynistic and vile. Her publicist released a statement saying as much

A nice, decent young lady who’s done nothing to deserve your opprobrium other than the fact you once decided to charge the VMAs stage as Taylor accepted an award, furious that your friend Beyoncé hadn’t won it instead.
It emerged on Thursday that the lyric to Famous, one of the tracks on your new album, contains this line: ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. I made that b*tch famous.’
Aside from the obvious disrespect to your wife Kim Kardashian West, it’s a thoroughly unpleasant and sexist thing to say to Taylor Swift.
It was also untrue, she was already a hugely successful recording artist before you ruined her award-winning moment.
As news of this new vile slur spread, and anger erupted on social media led by Taylor’s brother, you decided that attack was the best form of defence.

He unleashed this Twitter tirade Friday morning, start reading from the bottom up

He even went as far as to call the lyric her idea

You went on another Twitter rampage in which you declared that you’d cleared this lyric with Taylor. In fact, it was all HER idea.
Wow, really? That would change everything.
No, not really.
Taylor’s representatives quickly made it very clear that your claims are a pack of lies.
1) She hadn’t in fact approved any such lyric.
2) She didn’t even know about the ‘I made that b*tch famous’ part,.
3) She specifically ‘cautioned’ you about ‘releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.’
As always when hoisted by your own petard, Kanye, you chose to blame everyone else for failing to understand you.
‘Stop trying to demonize real artist,’ you raged, ‘that’s why music’s so f***ing watered down right now. They want to control us with money and perception and mute the culture.’
No mate, with the greatest of respect, that’s a load of old c-rap.
Nobody’s demonizing any artist around here.
We just find your recent public behaviour towards women profoundly wrong.
You can say what you like in private, that’s your business.
But when you go on a global platform like Twitter and act like a slathering pig, it’s our right to say: ‘Shut the **** up Kanye.’
I’m astonished that your wife Kim doesn’t stop you doing this.

It's shocking Kim hasn't stopped you, and you even claim in tweets to have her blessings

Despite all the mockery she gets, I’ve always admired her for being a hard-working, empowered, independent woman.
Why would she enjoy seeing her husband berating other hard-working, empowered, independent women in such a degrading way?
You insisted in one of your latest blizzard of tweets, ‘I asked my wife for her blessings and she was cool with it.’
Hmmm, I find that very hard to believe frankly.
Kim’s ‘cool’ with you suggesting you want to have sex with Taylor Swift? Kim’s ‘cool’ with you calling Taylor a ‘b*tch?’
In fact, Kim’s not just ‘cool’ with it, she offered her ‘blessings’?
If she did, then Kim’s let herself down almost as much as you have.
More to the point, you’ve both let your children down.
Why would you want them to think that’s how men should speak about women in public?
I’m disappointed in you, Kanye.
You’re better than this.
It’s not ‘cool’ to be so overtly offensive to women.
Not now you’re a husband and father.
Grow up.

[h=1]Hey, Kanye. Yes, I’m white but listen up because I’ve got PLENTY to say[/h]

If I am completely honest, I'm rather looking forward to Kanye’s final meltdown.
The moment Kanye West finally goes full Fukishima, and tweets nude pictures of himself exposing his vast manhood tattooed with Amber Roses’ face.
It will break the Internet. And I want front row seats. Because it can only be moments away.
In his latest nuclear grade rant he told Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, to hand over a billion dollars to help fund his visionary genius designing the world’s dullest and most unwearable fashion line.

Kanye West's meltdown must be imminent - and when it happens I want front row seats

He has lately been banging on about he needs money to fund his ideas - and has desperately called out Mark Zuckerberg to give him a billion dollars as he was going on stage for Saturday Night Live over the weekend

Early Sunday he also called out Google billionaire Larry Page and criticized rich people who fund schools in Africa and listen to rap music yet don't give him, Kanye, their fortunes

Kayne decided a great way to get Mark to hand over what Kanye clearly considers The Facebook billionaire’s loose change was to criticise his charitable work on a social media platform the guy doesn’t own.
‘You’d rather open up a school in Africa, like you really helped the country’.
Country. Continent. You say tomato. I say you’re stupid.
Kanye acknowledges he is personally rich and can buy furs and houses for his family, but wants us to know we are the stupid ones because the first rule is to use other people’s money.
He’s sick of using his own, claiming to be $53 million in debt in desperate need of a cash injection.
The sad thing is that Kanye’s nonsense has been tolerated by too many people who are smart enough to know better for too long.

Yet while begging billionaires for money to fund his art - he still bragged Monday that he can buy his family furs and homes and says we're all stupid if we don't spend other people's money

Presumably because of his musical ‘genius’ and perhaps because they think it’s just an elaborate PR stunt.
But you know the even sadder thing? Kanye really believes in this stuff. He believes his needs are greater – like a hypochondriac faced with a cancer patient, still convinced their suffering is worse.
Just like he believes he is the Second Coming. He was photographed with a crown of thorns for Rolling Stone Magazine, has a new album named after Paul the apostle, called his kid Saint and even sang about his new role here on earth.
As god’s gift to the planet, he believes he also gets to make up the rules.
For his wife and catwalk models these are actual rules; banning makeup and controlling Kim’s contact with her exes.

Kanye's nonsense is being tolerated by too many people - including his wife Kim. He believes he is the second coming. In addition to a daughter named North he now had a newborn son named Saint

And is it just me, but is her Royal Kimness, beginning to lose it?
Overshadowed by her younger sisters, who presumably aren’t forced to take fashion tips from a raging lunatic or diffuse Kayne when he’s backstage and about to blow.
But for society he goes one better. He has told white music magazines they are not allowed to comment on black music anymore.
Despite the fact he loves, loves, loves white people. Which would be a bit like me saying I love, love, love migrants. I do. When they are migrating somewhere else.
Racism goes both ways. And race is never more apparent than when white people are excluded from having an opinion. I can’t open my mouth without abusing my white privilege, or whitesplaining. So I must remain dumb.
Kanye argues whites don’t understand what it means to be the great-grandson of ex-slaves. He is right, but he doesn’t understand what it means to be a granddaughter of a Sumo wrestler. Nor do I. But we can all be different if we try.
313F6D2D00000578-0-image-a-10_1455631085077.jpg

Monday night he told all white reviewers to stop commenting on and reviewing his music

Every victimhood excuse made to defend this disdain for other races is a lie.
I’d argue black power has become a position of privilege, where you are allowed to say things, demand things, pretend to represent issues which simply aren’t there.
Beyoncé turned half-time at the Super Bowl into a protest against police killing black boys when most people just wanted family entertainment.
Now Kanye turns an award ceremonies into a battle between black and white when there was none to be fought.
Fighting for black power in the absence of white racism is endemic of black racial insecurity. It’s the same reason we can only tweet #blacklivesmatter instead of #alllivesmatter.
White people are not responsible for the fact that homicide is the number one cause of death of young black males.
Just as white people do not conspire to deny black people jobs. If there is a job problem in the US black community today it is because of the anti-business of the President with the worst economic recovery on record.
Kanye says the system is designed for coloured people to fail, and one of their only voices is music. (How a black President fits into paranoid Kanye’s world view is anyone’s guess.)
So there you go – young black men. You heard it direct from Kanye, you will fail in the white man’s world so you may as well give up trying.
And don’t even think about trying to succeed as a doctor or lawyer or something that doesn’t involve entertainment or sport.
Do as Kayne did and drop out of college, close down your mother’s charitable foundation and persecute a white woman because you are jealous of her success.

Kanye stole Taylor Swift's glory at the 2009 MTV awards, and Monday night when she won the Grammy for Album of the Year she used her speech to empower women and hit back at Kanye's digs at her

When Taylor Swift won a 2009 MTV award for Video of the Year, he crashed the stage to announce Beyoncé as the true winner. I guess if you are a perennial victim, losing is never yours to deal with, but rather a matter of finding someone else to blame.
Now in his latest single – Famous – he is proud to announce;
‘To all my South Side niggas that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.’
Nice. His wife must be proud.
Taylor warned him against sounding like a woman-hater. She even used speech after her win at the Grammys to encourage other women to ignore people who try to take credit for your success or your fame.
Surely people want this kind of empowerment? Not a free pass to fail?
Kanye believes he is an inspirational figure for his legions of fans.
He’s not, he’s a demanding, debt ridden troll who can’t decide if he’s a genius, god or victim.
And who just betrayed the most vulnerable of them in the worst possible way.

He'd be a hero if he could take Pitbull with him.
Next to 'The Weekend' who is more annoyingly overplayed?
