WSEX is totally in the wrong here. The $500 per play limit is intended just to give the book an opportunity to move the line between plays. However, it doesnt mean the book will change the line for sure. Therefore I dont understand how people can say Revere was in the wrong or trying to pull some BS. It is clear that

#1. Steve lied about when the plays were cancelled.

#2. He never even sent an email to the address he had on file for reveres account.

#3. If the play had lost - they would have all been graded as losses.

IDENTITY, WSEX cancelled the bet BEFORE the match and tried to call Revere14. The # was bogus. What your doing is calling WSEX a crooked sportsbook and Steve a liar. I disagree with your assessment.

Steve even said that they couldn´t cancel the bets because there wasn´t a manager there. They waited to see what would happen especially when their team was winning 1-0. The player was wrong for putting in the bets the way he did but the book was wrong for not cancelling them out of the system before the game started. I am sure the player was checking his pending plays throughout the game and his bets were still there so he has action. IMO

chuck - your shilling of wsex is blinding you to the facts in this one. WSEX ADMITS that the game was not cancelled til AFTER the game. wsex has no produced NO FAILURE DELIVERY NOTICE as dannymay points out. steve initally says cancelled before game. then reverses and says not cancelled.

THE FACTS OF THIS CASE ARE CLEAR: PLAYER WANTS BIG BET. SHOP CLOSED BUT ONLINE WORKING. SOFTWARE ALLOWS UNUSUALLY BIG BET, BET CONFIRMED, RISK ON PLAYER FOR A LOT OF MONEY, MANCHESTER GOES DOWN 1-0, NO CANCELLATION, MANCHESTER WINS 2-1!!!! CANCELLATION...

Look at the man's past history & you will see he bet $1000 max. Now all of a sudden he bets almost $40,000 on a game during the overnight hours at a book that caters to N. American sports & their posted biggest limit is $20,000 on a NFL side. The intention looks quite clear here.
