The deal, reportedly, will be announced on Wednesday. The extension begins with the 2010 season and will carry him through 2015, buying out his first two years of free agency. Upton, who turns 23 in August, batted .300/.366/.532 with 26 homers, 86 RBI and 20 stolen bases last season. He should be well worth the money.
