Has to go top 3 I would think

Felix Jones: 4.4
Mike Hart 4.67
Ray Rice 4.4
John Stewart 4.4
Slaton 4.4

Chris Brown of ECU was in the 4.2s also

Adrian Peterson ran 4.4 and 4.37 last yr

mcfadden will be the first rb no doubt. he could have run 4.5 or more and he would still be the first rb to go. damn the faster speed is just a plus.

Kid from ECU is pretty damn fast too. I personally think taking a RB in round 1 is a good way to ruin your franchise unless you have a talented offensive line already in place.

Mcfadden looks like a strong runner also, a bruiser type like Peterson.

Is it just me or does he seem to have a funny build for a running back? He looks like his legs are too skinny.

But damn that time is unbelievable for a running back, that has to be one of the fastest times ever for a RB.

For the record, 4.27 was the unofficial time. The official time was changed to 4.33 (Still Awesome!)

Chris Johnson of ECU has the combine's fastest time (4.24)

Chris Johnson is going to be an excellent pro as well. Guy is one of the fastest running backs I've ever seen if not easily the fastest. He torched my Boise St broncos. We controlled Adrian Peterson but couldn't stop Chris Johnson...

mcfadden will go 6th to the jets. no team in top 5 will take a rb.

No way the pathetic Raiders could afford to pass on McFadden if he is there at 4. They already passed on Peterson. Fargas is not the answer at RB (even though they just gave him a ridiculous contract)

Darren McFadden ran a 4.27

Or even 4.33 is blazing and friggin scary.

He will go top four depending upon what the Fish do with their pick..They can have DE Cris Long, DT Glenn Dorsey, QB Matt Ryan or trade with say Atlanta and still get McFadden if they don't want Ryan. The Falcons are drooling over Ryan. The Fish could take the Falcons #1 pick and another say second round pick to trade #1 for # 3 and get MacFadden but of course they need about everything anyway including a QB.

I just hope Al Davis don't get his hands on either McFadden or Ryan. Dorsey could fill in at Oakland for the retired Warren Sapp.

Rashard Mendenhall ran a 4.37. And he's more of a power back too.

Peterson's 07 season prooved that a RB can turn a team around and made big money for D-Mac by his performance. I feel certain the lowest he will go is 4th if the Raiders don't trade and Ryan is gone.

You can't go wrong taking a QB very high on draft day when you just went 1 and 15 like the Dolphins did.

The Raiders are thin at RB with oldtimers Lamont Jordan and Dominic Rhodes no longer the answer and Justin Fargas an unrestricted free agent. Bottom line D-Mac don't get past the 4th spot.

Fargas is no longer an UFA. The Raiders gave him a fat contract indicative that he will be their starter. He had a nice yr but is nothing special, just solid.

Missed that announcement - must have been within the last two weeks. After the Super Bowl I didn't read a lot of NFL news because of being in a depressed football frame of mind.:sad3:

I know Fargas had a huge game against the Dolphins last year and ended up with 1000 yards which I have to assume got him the big contract out of Davis..

He got 3 yrs, $12 mil ($6 mil guaranteed). Crazy $$$ for a barely above avg (if that) RB
