March is a while from now, but other than UNC and UConn, who are some dark-horses that might pay-out nicely on a NC future. My local has Syracuse +3300 and Louisville +1600, might take a stab at both.

Conneticut +1000
Duke +1000
Louisville +1400
Notre Dame +3300
Texas +3000
UCLA +2200

Are all good bets. They are either going to give you a nice pay out or hedge spot.

(Syracuse opened the season at +2500 all over the place and are 17-3 and now are getting worse odds????)

I've seen Mizzou as high as 80 to 1(talking dark, dark horse here,). Mike Anderson finally has some players to fit into his system. They get after it and defend, style of play isn't something most teams will want to face come march. If they could actually make their FT's look out. They go as high as 10 or 11 deep without much dropoff. Obviously they aren't going to win the title but you should have some hedging options should they make a run to the Sweet 16.

They don't play defense.

If you want a dark-dark horse go with...

Wisconsin or Illinois

If you feel frisky maybe Michigan or Minnesota??

All good bets except Cuse is a homer job lol. I love Cuse but I just don't see it. Hopefully I am wrong.

I'd put my money on Pitt or Louisville before I would on UConn. I watched them get crushed by GeorgeTown at home, the same team that Pitt crushed in GT.

History has shown, You need to be a good free throw team and play great defense in order to get to win final 4.

Not sure how a team can be #2 in the country in steals out of 340+ teams but they don't play any defense.:think2:

Pitt is good value, but they have a history of choking in the Big Dance. That is probably why they are good value.

I'm sticking to my original leans in Louisville and my homer pick in the Orange. Hopefully one comes through, or at least comes close so hedging is in order.
