Dark Blue vs Life of David Gale opening 3 day numbers

Gale - 1 million; Blue+1. I'm liking Blue here
as we pit Spacey aganist Kurt Russell. We also
have Ving Rhames in Blue to capture the black
audience. Gale does have Kate Winslet and Laura
Linney, but I figure guys usually pay for the movie so I go with the macho action pick here.
Opinions please before it moves too much.

that`s all i needed to hear....i am a spacey admirer(since usual suspects,seven,american beauty and glengarry glenross)....i`ll lay the -135....the trailer looks pretty interesting....

p.s.-although i hate his pushy politics,alec baldwin`s role in glengarry was the most compelling short role i`ve seen since wilford brimley in absence of malice...

dark blue is actually supposed to be a good picture. life of david gale was a highly regarded script around town, but I always thought it was a snoozer. toss up as to which will do worse, look for under bets and avoid going head to head if possible.

also, Kurt Russell is a ticket black hole. should draw audience but never does. stargate was the last thing that he was sucessful in, I think.

franks...i`m beginning to wonder....gale is getting panned in the b`more media and in the papers....it`s another ponderous anti-death penalty screed(boring and condescending)...what happened to kevin spacey...lakerfan made an excellent point to me regarding spacey`s most recent film choices....the guy is a fine actor that appears to be ham-stringing his own career with lousy project choices...

for some paydays there? I took Corrales under 9.5 rounds tomorrow nite. It was at Olympic, now it's under 8 rounds. This Tyson fight is
very shaky to me. What's the angle here?

franks.....what the heck did you do?.....that over/under in the corrales fight is now 6 1/2 at oly......if you stretched out on this one,you might want to middle a portion of it.....that thing has dropped 3 full rounds?.....whoa...that`a a healthy line movement..gonna change that moniker to "the franks syndicate"
