They did not expect or model for that many Trump votes to come out the day of. I guarantee they based their models off of 2016
When that computer system is involved to cheat (Hammer, Scorecard) they need to build a model to program for the election so it can read the votes
and decide how many to change. They used it for pre election votes, I wonder how much they used it day of.
The turnout from Trump was not expected by the dumb Dems and they had to cheat on a larger level than planned due to the turnout
That much is obvious right now. They did not know how much they had to cheat so they had to coordinate a stop in the counting so they could figure out the amount of votes they would have to add. I am betting it was much larger than they assumed before hand.

When the software couldn't cover the massive red wave (small non-suspicious adjustments disguised as "glitches" one precinct to the next) they had to stop counting in the middle of the night in 5 Democrat-controlled states and send in hundreds of thousands of fraud 100% Biden paper ballots. Hence the clear overnight spike in MI and WI.
The influx of paper ballots was the backup plan.
