Willie simply compared SJ to kyrie basically calling both a lost cause and the only thing you can do in cases like that is smile and move on
What’s wrong with that comparison? I agree with Willie. Kyrie by far the biggest clown in sports

Nothing. I mis-read Willie's comment.

I thought he was saying I pick on Joe but ignore someone like Kyrie when he says something equally as stupid.

Cryrie says the earth is flat because there are no pictures proving it's round

You just smile and move on

I can't care anymore
Apologies on the misread/interpretation here...

Why release the murder? What sense does that make? Haha
What do you mean does not make sense? Of course it doesn't make sense, anymore than "Russian collusion" and "81m votes".

It was nothing more than a lawless plot and lame excuse to kill Jesus.

Pontius Pilate gave the "mob" a "choice" between killing Jesus and a murderer.

The mob chose Jesus because it was stacked with anti-Jesus supporters so the vote was - snicker, snicker - RIGGED.

As matter of fact, Pilate later had to stand trial in Rome for cruelty and oppression for many of these "lawless" type antics...

There goes your entire clown "theory" Haha ?

Lol. Yeah a person of the law gave a mob a choice like that.

Like I said they were a civilized society. A choice like that would never be given to a mob.

Haha. Did they have to each write down their vote or did he just do it by how loud the crowd got for each choice given?

"Give me a shot out for Jesus!"
"Give me a shout out for murder!"

Was the mob limited to first 100 in the door?

Lol.

The latter - how loud the crowd shouted.

Like I said, a desperate lawless plot by a rogue governor who wanted the Pharisees off his back.

Your entire thesis is comical given that Pilate was forced to stand trial for "lawless" antics such as these.

However, as you know, the story does have a happy ending. Not only did Jesus rise from the dead and hung out with the locals for a month performing greater miracles before his final ascent into Heaven, his entire teachings and presence were so powerful that that they spread like wildfire throughout your "civilized" roman empire, which eventually became the Roman Catholic church.

There's a reason the Bible is the best selling book ever, but such factors are lost on people who frankly, worship Satan, and all the anti-God, anti-science, anti-logic woke nonsense currently eroding our own "civilized society".

Amazing that all the writings of people who covered that time and period and not a single word about this trial or of Jesus himself...nothing.

Dreams and then the writings of this trial and the man 100 years later or close to 3 lifetimes---with life expectancy back than...so nobody who actually met Jesus or knew a person who knew Jesus---nope.

And yet u believe this without question and not Damar being alive. Haha

Religion is erdoing as science explains more and more...

Hell when Columbus came and told the Native Americans to hand over everything or my God will block out ur sun and then an eclipse happened(as Europeans were aware). I would have believed also and thought "shit this dude is with God."

Once again I am not saying there isn't a God. But the stories told in the Bible make absolutely no sense.

God supposedly created languages to stop people from building a ladder to heaven. Haha.

I went to catholic school all the way through HS. Then studied each side in college. I have forgotten many specifies since then but your not going to stump me on this stuff...

Then what do you call the 12 Disciples? And Paul the Apostle?

For you, the Bible is "NOBODY"

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say cruderube has not actually READ the Bible, nor spoken to any serious religious scholars.

You don't have to keep believing stuff just because at one time you thought it to be true.

Look into stuff with an actual open mind.

I use to believe Martingale worked because it felt so right(still does). You mean I only have to win 1 of 9 times to make a profit. I can do that! Then I learned mathematics.

The disciples didn't write a word.

The gospel mentions the disciples.

Paul mentions Jesus coming to him in dreams never in physical form.

I have done this with priest/nuns in HS.

It normally just ends with "Jesus is something you feel in your heart."

Fine. Whatever.

Science and Christianity are not mutually exclusive.

The Bible is filled with wisdom promoting logic and science.

Another stupid strawman by atheists.

The biggest problem with "follow the science" is that annoying first word: FOLLOW!

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh...

Easy solution: stop "FOLLOWING"

Now ur going off track.

Anything I have previously stated do you find not to be true?

What writings where written by the disciples themselves? Nothing. Correct?

For Paul. You believe we can learn new information in dreams? You believe Jesus actually came to him in a dream or it was just a dream produced in his brain like everyone else?

You seem to not have ur facts straight if you believe we have first hand writings of Jesus by his disciples or Paul or anyone else. That isn't true.

Then you have not had serious discussions with religious scholars or anyone remotely knowledgeable enough to give you the answers you're looking for.

No, I don't include myself in that group.

Also remember...the Bible stories are suppose to be facts and the world of God.

The goal posts have been moved over time that the stories are now suppose to be taken as symbolic and meant to teach lessons more than they actually happened----a easy cope out as we have grown as a society and those stories are absurd if suppose to be believe as true and fact.

Of course the disciples are first hand knowledge. The disciples were Jesus's closest friends and most ardent believers who followed him everywhere.

Hence the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which are not written as a biographical account of Jesus's life, rather to spread his teachings throughout humanity.

Same story and events - different perspectives.

Paul came after.

I know this may shock you, but the Bible is not written for the skeptic, historians or religious scholars, it is written for believers. And nobody is forcing you to believe anything, least of all Jesus.
