The best bet on the board for the total wins this year is the Cowboys under 7 1/2. This team is horrible. Parcells is a very good coach but it will take him a few years to get this outfit competitive. They have no quarterback and no running backs. If they get to 5 wins, it will be a successful season.
I hope everybody knows I was kidding about my previous statement about the QB & RB depth. Not one of the four main guys (Hutchinson, Carter, Hambrick or Wiley) has carried the load for a full season yet. Parcells definitely has his hands full but at least he brought us Giants fans two Super Bowl trophies!

I would like to know how many of you guys know any thing about the teams they talk about. Lou Knows his personal and stats but the rest of you guys dont even know that. You guys rely on others. I know the cowboys and if you guys who hate them would of watched every snap as I do you would understand that one of the best defences in the league and an ofence that is young will take a turn. The cowboys lost alot of games last year in the fourth quater because of the lack of dicipline. They were not in alot of games because the offence was run by a loser.
And there is no team in the NFL that is not capable of puting it together. I suggest you idiots that say any team is bad take a break from reading espn and read a book on football.
Love the cowboys cant wait for the season. I suspect that most of you haters will be giving the terrible cowboys congrats by the end of the season. Jump on the band wagon and I will call you out.

Don't have to make noise to be successful. New England in 2001 should have taught everyone that lesson, as most of their contributors were mid-level guys that noone else wanted.
Cowboys upgraded their secondary by adding Newman in the draft along with Mitchell and resigning Edwards - combined with Ross will give Dallas one of the better secondaries in the league, upgraded the offensive line with the additions of Ryan Young in FA, Al Johnson in the draft and Parcells whipping the team back into shape. If this line can avoid the injuries of last year (Which is most likely since they were way overweight last year) then this unit becomes another plus.
Dallas upgraded the tight-end spot with the additions of Dan Campbell and James Witten (Draft - considered by most the best TE in the draft). Fullback was changed, from the underperforming Robert Thomas to Richie Anderson as well as Martin returning from injury.
Dallas also upgraded the linebacking core with the additions of James Bradie and Al Singleton. 2 Guys that fit the scheme that Zimmerman uses (Scheme is similar to Tampa Bays). Add Roy Williams with a year of experience and you'll notice a major upgrade on the secondary side.

So the big question is whether or not Parcells is the difference. My money goes on yes, expect a 7-9 or 8-8 season this year with a big jump next year...

Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys - you guys are missing the Hollywood in this whole thing - I'm talking about the Jerry Jones - Big Tuna show. Both guys are media showmen and love the attention that the sports papperazi shower on them.
