Dont get me wrong the cowboys has been my fav team since the days of Roger Staubach, now those was the real cowboys and you could be proud to call them your team.These over-paid guys now that show you for the pay check and jump from team to team to get the fast and big money are not players that work to make the team better.The cowboys from the coach to the players are the joke of the league imo and this is one reason that the NFL to me is the most over-rated of all sports.just my 2cents..ck
Sorry, but I agree with Econ Major. The Dallas Cowboys are not the Yankees because football has a salary cap. In fact they couldn't be more opposite. Baseball is a joke because the small market teams suffer to the likes of the Yankees and the other big market teams that can rent-a-pitcher or stud hitter anytime they please. The Cowboys are under the same rules as every other team in the league and that's why there's parity in the NFL. Although to some extent I miss the sense of community you get by having the same players on the same teams for their careers, the NFL was smart to design the system the way they currently have it (the NBA also). Look at the fan interest you generate when you still have practically half the league in the playoff hunt in weeks 14 and 15. Look at the ratings and the popularity of football. You don't see that in baseball anymore because its a joke. Comparing football to baseball is just a bad analogy.

Well kid i have to step in hear. Sure the yankees do it the american way. If you can't buy it makes sure you find a way to steal it or drive the price so high nobody can afford it. But jones be littles his team and his players constantly. He hires coaches he can completely control.yankees lets thier coaches do thier own thing and supply them with the tools to make the job easier.players and coaches don't want to play for jones. Everyone sooner or later wants to play for the yanks. I could go on and on, but i have made my point.
