kapler passed kevin youkilis today, on my list of favorite jewish baseball players.

braun follows kapler , 1st and 3rd...oddly enough..i think hes jewish too.....which is very odd consideirng theres like less than 20 in MLB

Without citing a source, the article declared that Braun's nickname was "The Hebrew Hammer" and "he is cool with that." I found no source but the Jewish Press article in which Braun said he is cool with, or even likes, being called The Hebrew Hammer.

this is a really funny article if anyone wants to read it....i remember now...hes not exactly jewish for what most consider.....cause his mom isnt....justhis dad...in the jewish religion, the mom is the key component.

As a side note, when me and some friends play Halo 3 we call the gravity-hammer the "hebrew hammer".

No, we aren't Jewish and we are not trying to be disrespectful, but it does have a nice ring to it.
