Czechs had a bunch of chances too. they didnt get dominated. Once they went down a man it went downhill but until then it was pretty eve. Difference is Ghana was able to put one in and czechs werent. Czechs without 2 worlds class players as well

Oh yeah I forgot about that red...I guess it helps when you are playing with more people ...I sure hope USA can get some confidence and beat Italy

I don't understand...the announcers are saying neither Italy or USA can advance or be eliminated today. How does Italy not advance with a win?

if Ghana and Czech wins the last match, the group table is:
Italy 6
Ghana 6
Czech 6
Usa 0
Here there are other factors to take in account to decide which teams are qualified for the next round.

Ghana played above averave against Italy, they missed two really good scoring chances in the first half. Problem is that Italy has a better defense than the Czech.

If US wins today, they still have to beat (or possibly tie) Ghana to advance. But I think everyone is assuming the US will beat Ghana.

Yes I also believed Ghana held its own against Italy and the score wasn't a proper showing of how the game went. Besides Italy got a gift in that final goal.
