I suppose we hear all the time about Sportsbooks stiffing customers. However, a far more common occurence that posters consistently fail to acknowledge here is customers stiffing sportsbooks. Therefore I am bringing to your attention two stiffs, both of whom deposited by Western Union, but then the funds were uncollectable.

Stiff Number 1.

(name & address edited)

The above is his listing on the database, he stiffed us for $600. From conversations, I know that he found us through the prescription, and I hope he is reading this now. His registered contact in his Neteller account is

(address, telephone, & IP edited)

I have called his phone number and it is a Fax tone. When he won, we paid him withinn 24 hours.

Stiff Number 2.

Has a voice like Ned Flanders from the Simpsons when you leave a message on his answerphone (basically the kind of guy you want to kick around for pleasure).

(name & address edited)

The phone number listed is incorrect according to the lady who answered, so I will not post it here. In any case, if you have any information relating to these, please contact me at 1877.880.3983 or curran@easybets.com

Please do not post personal info like this in the forum.

We confirmed the availablility of the funds. Get your facts straight before using the word "Greed" here. Secondly, it seems fine for Sportsbooks to be insulted on a daily basis, and be accused of stiffing customers, but when we get stiffed, what recourse do we have.

If it is for legal reasons, I accept that. Its for the same reason that the US is the most litigious nation on earth, unfortunately, my own home country of Ireland comes a close second.

Judging by the Block Capitals, you might be the guy who bounced a Redicheck for $500 a few years ago....the bad grammar (There instead of their)...bad spelling (JAMM....should be jam).

Anyone with half a brain will be able to see from the post that you can't spell, and probably head down to the Western union office after collecting the welfare check.

Yep.....sounds very like my old friend L P from Oakland, California.

yeah, i was wondering the same thing?

what "classy" organization do you work for?

u don't know how to verify a western union....?

unless you are a credit shop, it should be impossible for someone to stiff you...unless you employ morons.......

............and judging from your posts

HOPE I SPELLED ALL THE WORDS CORRECTLY...

If a player stiffs a book, we should be able to post it. Period.

There are so many fake ass complaints made in these forums against books that did nothing wrong all the time.

Now a book was stiffed or SCAMMED by a player or even worst, a poster here. I for one want to know who it was.

Saying he cant post is hypocritycal. (spelling?)

There is no proof that the info provided is true ......

Any Western Union money sent should be picked up before put into ones acct. How else can you get stiffed via Western Union if you collect the money first?

I hear you. To be honest I havent even read the entire thread.

I just read the title and saw that it was locked or edited or whatever.

Naturally I would want to read about the situation, and see the players info not being disclosed as unfair to a book.

After reading I think he could have handled the situation better.

However, still feel his story should be heard. It is the fair thing to do.

I do feel that I was hasty in posting so quickly, but after trying to contact both of these cases, I was furious. There are people who are very quick to create false alarms about Sportsbooks, but when it comes to a case of defending against fraud, it is prevented.

I don't expect sympathy, but a realistic approach on preventing this for Sportsbooks will benefit customers as well.

Whether the guy knows how to confirm money in or not is not relevant to me.

Even if he MISTAKENLY gave the guys money, before confirming it. Does that make it right for a person to take advantage? I think not.

I for one would not want that type of person playing at BHB. I have made mistakes in the past. and our customers called us and told us. (from the rx actually)

BHB gave a guy a payout and didnt take the money out of his account. He could have made more bets with the money, we would have never known. He being an honest person called and we took the money out. Its nice knowing there are people like that in this world.

I would like to knwo the names, and the whole story, start to finish.

Thanks
-scott
