it all gets started in just a few weeks fellas. can't wait to start cappin and playin the early season games and tourneys. anyways, love the Orange this year and think they are undervalued at 25/1. Their back line of the zone is stacked with 7'2" Chukwu, Roberson, Lydon and Coleman...frontcourt is electric with 6'6" freshman/slasher Battle and 6'7" transfer and sharp shooter White. they also have emerging pg in Howard and colo st transfer Gillon who averaged 14 and 4 ast. There is no weakness on this team and they even have depth which they never have...with a couple other good recruits in Thompson and Moyer. I'm not really sure why they are flying under the radar...Boeheim, who never says anything good about his team preseason, is very excited about this squad. When the smallest player on the floor is 6'6", this long zone gives teams fits...especially non conf teams in the tournament who have not seen it yet and have 2 days to prepare for it. i realize Duke is a monster this year, but nobody is looking to play a team to win it all at 3/1...we all look for value and i believe syracuse is the squad this year...they are deep, athletic, long and able to score at the rim and behind the arc. the acc looks weaker than usual to me this year with the bottom half of the league looking very bleak and su gets bc and ga tech twice and plays duke, unc and uva once with 2 of those games in the dome...i think they firmly finish second in the acc and grab at least a 2 seed in the tourney and then make a run. there are usually only 8 to 10 teams that have a realistic chance to cut the nets down in april and syracuse def holds the most value of those schools at 25/1...good luck if you decide to hop on and we'll be seein' everyone in a few weeks
