they lost the 2 best announcers they will ever have, the fans are sad about that. the cubs management knows they will make money even with bad teams thanks to wgn contract. no motivation, biterness towards dusty baker for getting rid of steve stone and then chip leaves, cubs are in a mess from fans to the dugout.
home field is no advantage to them. they are just going through the motions of another year. they wont be back to where they were 2 years ago for another century.
