I didn't see the game online at work today but from the looks of the scoreboard, good thing I laid back on this game as both sides of sides/total could easily say "this was the right play", eh?
CWS leading until the triple in the 7th inning then a wild pitch to let Cubs take the lead (and Lilly getting the ironic win). Cubs pad 2 more insurance runs in 8th inning to let the Over and RL hit.
This is one of those games where, IMHO, the ball could have went in any direction... I just find it funny how some think they just nailed something right but needing all of the intricacies to make it happen. Not pointing to anyone in this thread (as I haven't read the whole thread). Just smiling at how this could have been easily a CWS win, 3-1, instead of a Cubs 6-3 win.
In short, I just made a worthless post.
