betting against the cubs at home is a fools game, like trying to pick the top in oil.

Congrats all Cubs backers, tough fucking loss for US! God damnit...

We lost this game because our bullpen had one of their few bad outings.

WHY... OZZIE IS THE ONLY REASON WE LOST THIS GAME.. THE ONLY rEASON
You my friend are a moron.

The reason they lost the game is because they stranded two runners on second w/o 0 outs. The reason they lost is because their two best relievers since the end of April gave up 3 runs today and 3 HR's.

The reason they lost is because of that. The White Sox have had them go the 7-8-9 inning all year with Jenks included and they have gotten it done. Today they didn't.

Correct, 30-8 for a profit of almost 15 units on a 1 unit wager.

The game is over, nothing anyone can do about it now. However with runners on 2nd and no outs there should have been a bunt call atleast 1 of those times, especially in the 9th. CWS didn't manufacture runs and in the end it killed them.

Once again. Thome was the right move and I HATE THOME. He grounds out to the right side more than most in baseball; that's why the put the shift on.

This team doesn't bunt very often they hit home runs. You do not change your style of play for one game. They are a power hitting team but they can move runners over but they just do it w/o bunting.

Thome didn't get it done but he was the right man.

I see your points, but I don't think Thome was going to pull the ball there against a 97 mph fastball. I would have much rather taken my chances with an Ozuna bunt then that. A strikeout, popup, or a shallow fly to any part of the field equals a cheap out. Bunt the guy to 3rd with 1 out, and take your chances.
