If he does it, which I still doubt, this would be the most surprising accomplishment in the history of baseball. No hitter is one of the hardest baseball accomplishments. It took the Cubs 36 years to get one. To have two different pitchers do it B2B is really inconceivable. Not sure what to compare it to. Am I right to assume this has never happened?
Wouldn't be the most surprising accomplishment in baseball history at all. 100's of things have happened that are crazier, but it'd be impressive. That should be a hit BTW.
No Hitters are more common than a lot of things in baseball.
ERROR? You've got to be kidding me. That's a hit, and a terrible job by the scorer.
What is less common aside from a perfect game?
Back to back to back to back HRs. Unassisted triple plays. Off the top of my head...
There have been 281 no hitters in MLB.
Things I can list off the top of my head.
There have been fewer cycles, triple plays, unassisted triple plays, three home run games, 4 home run games, 20 strike out games, 19 strike out games and the list goes on. While it is an incredible feat it isn't as rare as you'd think.
Harry has some as well. There are a lot of things in baseball that happen less often.

OK, and have those things ever happened in consecutive games for a team/player?
