I don't get how if you steal on a full count and its a ball how you still get called out. Doesn't make sense.. maybe I need to see the game on TV to understand.

How can you condone that? Morons is what they are.
Lets trash our OWN field and show them off.... WTF???

How old are you kid?

Where do I condone anything...

I am starting to get the picture...that your reading comprehension is sorely lacking...

I simply stated what they were doing...

Too many Old Style's.

It is the same as if you get walked and want to round first. Once you round first you are considered live again. The runner slid into second head first and slid past the bag so he was considered live again. Eckstein tagged him after he slid past and he was called out. What happened at the plate doesnt matter once he rounded second.

a walk only provides you with protection to the next base. once you make a turn toward third or go past 2nd base, you are fair game.

Well the Cubs blew it again. What's new. I am so sick of losing money on the Cubs for one and losing a game in late innings again. Still flustered with the fact that they didn't get no runs in all the situations they had.

when he slid into the bag he touched it with his hand and foot. after the bb he was given 2nd base but since he was stealing he slid touched the base then went past the base then eckstein tagged him out.

Piniella sent Cedeno...

Molina threw to 2nd on ball 4...Cedeno slid head first...his left foot came off the bag...

The pro-wrestler Eckstein tagged him.

He was out.

Tee runner slid past the bag... For example, if it's ball 4 and the runner on second walks to second base and rounds the bag and eckstein tags him, he's out. Once you touch the bag, it doesn't matter how you got there, you can't go past it.

Like someone previously said, you only are allowed ONE free base. BUT, at your own discretion, you can advance to the next base but you will be at the risk of being thrown out.

Lets say there are runners on 1st and 2nd, 1 out, batter has a 3-1 count, pitcher throws a WILD pitch, clearly ball 4. Both the runners and the batter are now allowed ONE free advance. However, say the wild pitch goes far, far away from the catcher, all 3 of those runners can keep advancing at their own risk.
