I’m not in favor of bashing posters, but I don’t mind when people call BS when they see it. There are far too many posters on here; many considered “respected”, who are the biggest cry babies I’ve ever seen. Every loss has an excuse or a complaint. Act like you’ve been there before.

In addition, even some of the “respected” posters are some of the biggest frauds when it comes to their record, not counting juice, posting N/A lines, mysterious/phantom wins, conveniently leaving off losses, practicing horrendous money management and the classic get gutted and disappear for a few weeks and come back with a false record. It’s truly unreal, the valued contributors to this site see it, I’m sure.

Yet, the masses come back to support these people, regardless of their antics. These posters are not in it to help or share, simply to obtain mindless accolades. Hence the undeniable urge to forgo any form of class or integrity and post BS records, lines, etc. All to feel better after a few mindless responses and atta boys.

Unfortunately, these types of posters seem to increase year over year, in the short time I’ve been here. I’m sure someone with more tenure here could paint a clearer picture. Either way, you have to ignore it and simply stay out of these people’s threads, regardless of how much nonsense they are posting. I hear you, it’s difficult at times, especially when the claims are so outlandish, but its best practice to stay away. Like they say, if you can’t spot the sucker at the table, well…….

If the mods are going to just threaten about this then its pointless! Sick and tired of seeing winning threads with just BS and all I see is warnings to not "bash" in here or a link to this thread. Do your job and Ban them already!!!

I prefer to look at posters who have only one thread, this way, you can go back and see if their record is what they say it is. It is harder to follow those who start threads every day since most don't have the time to go back and see what they say is true. Lucky for me, I have a pretty good memory and I do look at what others picked and know if their record is in the neighborhood.

The only way to solve the problem is to have either moderators looking at records and see if it is true and have the person correct it, or let everyone police everyone by having a "report a post" button and people can report the error anonymously. People do make mistakes so you give them the benefit of the doubt and have them correct it.

I hate all the begging that occurs. "Are you going to have any plays today?" "I missed all of your earlier plays. Are you going to have any more tonight?" I remember some poster went on and on for days and someone called him out on it. He responded that he was "worried" about the poster. I am sure he would have been just as worried if the poster's record was crappy. It's fine if you can't do anything on your own, but sit back, shut up, and take what comes to you.

Its quite simple.

Rather than Mods go through work/trouble of banning someone, who may actually contribute to the forum. (Just not with a winning record in the sport at hand). The Mods should simply have a BULL SHIT stamp. Anyone convicted of false records simply gets tagged with the BULL SHIT stamp.

Whether it be in their threads or under their user name, Mods can choose. Either works for me.

Bump. I don't have a problem with the bullshit stamp idea. It does get tiresome sifting through some of the petty bickering that goes on here. Some guys just don't get it that the goal of the site is to benefit all the players. The juveniles that bash when guys post losers need to be dealt with
