Critiquing/Bashing/Harrasing Other Posters In Their Weekly/Yearly Picks-Thread Will Not Be Tolerated

If you have a beef with another Posters please take it to the Rubber Room.

Failure to do so will result in Post Review or worse.

If you experience such simply use the REPORT POST or shoot an Private Message to one of the mods.

99% of us come here for the same reasons and it's supposed to be an insightful, informative, and enjoyful experience, not to have salt rubbed in our wounds if we have a bad day, week, or year with our selections.

We are treating EVERY POSTER with the same respect.

Yes, I believe "bashing" is a better word than critiquing. I enjoy when posters come to my threads to issue counter pts to my picks. It is the "I told you so" I see a lot in other threads that is disappointing. Insightful & intelligent (and sometime humorous) conversation should be the norm at this great site.

I certainly don't condone bashing, especially in someone own thread, but we must remember its early in the season, so we have an especially high amount of jokers who should fizzle out as the season goes on.

As Bruins mentioned, the amount of BS lines is outrageous and throw in some fudged records and attention whoring and you will likely entice the bashing element. This is par for the course and should be expected at this time of year. Hopefully it eases down a bit as the season progresses.

Its never fun to be bashed, but the board needs a thicker skin as well. Its the internet, take it easy. The bashing is a fixed component year in and year out, but the amount of crying over being bashed, bad beats or flat our losses that weren't even close has reached a new level. Seems like we have a more sensitive bunch this season.
