what a game last night your redwings played. That was one hell of an exciting game. They almost tied it up it the last minute. even though I had won the "over" already I found myself on the edge of the couch cheering the wings on.

Ok. Just wondering if you'd ever watched any hockey in the Windsor casino sportsbook. I go there on occasion. Been to Toronto a few times too. Last time was for the Prospects game at the old Maple Leaf Gardens when Luongo and quite a few other young guns played. Went to the HOF and to Gretzky's bar as well. Cool town.

yes agree its a nice city. the hall of fame is ok, not to impressed with gretzkys...we got clarks steakhouse too now. I've never been to widsor exept when doing our annual drive to florida we go through the border there. Last year I went to the battle of alberta at the saddledome in calgary durting february and one day I'm gonna take in a game there in detroit. want to do all the original teams aswell

Speaking of Windsor, made a few trips up there during college, went to Don Cherry's everytime up there.

As for Toronto, I know I caught crap the other night from some Vancouverans, but I like Toronto. Reminds me of Chicago. Also been to Gretzky's and HHOF.

As a hockey fan from the U.S., going to Canada and being exposed to hockey whenever you like is a treat (not that NY is short on hockey coverage, just that it is Rangers, Rangers, Rangers).

With a baby on the way, it will probably be a long time before I can make a trip up to Calgary or Edmonton, although I would love to. Also looking to make it out to Vancouver/BC one day.

Did go to Winnipeg once on biz, when the Jets were still there. You actually wouldn't have known they had a hockey team, probably why they are in PHX. Too bad, Canada needs another franchise (hope it's not the Isles).
