I've posted about the guy rubbing his bicep on the bench bar, now I have a new one.

I saw a guy with 135 on the bar and was doing squats. But, it was a new kind of squat.

When the guy brought the weight up, he jumped. Not joking. He jumped in the air with 135 on his shoulders.

Never seen it before.

Enfuego, that "jumping squat" thing has to do w/ cross-fit and the P90X type of workouts. A lot of those P90X type workouts have those incorporated into them, but w/ no weights or w/ light dumbells.

Some asshole was walking around shirtless at my gym today.

What a dick!

I love the loud meat-head guys who yell across the gym to their buddies.

People should really have to take a gym etiquette class before joining a gym. Guys in my gym leave towels all over the place, they leave wet towels in the shower.

Old ripped guy at my gym (maybe 60-70 with a gnarly beard) wears overalls with no undershirt to work out.

That's better than the asshole who leaves sweat all over the bench.

How about the lazy fucks who don't put their weights away? Leaving 315lbs on the bench press and just walking off.

I could go on and on about the way people work out. Like the guys that work out right in front of the free weight rack...

It's the same in every gym. Nasty ass people.

I have to say the clientele at my gym for the most part is very respectable.
Don't have many complaints that I hear from other people at other gyms.

My only real issue with my gym is they have a few fat trainers.
I have no idea why my gym hires fat trainers.

It is a bad look and reflects poorly on the 1st class establishment.

If you are going to teach people how to be in shape at least be below 25% body fat.

My gym is huge, cheap, and located in a shopping mall so you have to take the good with the bad. And the good is the ridiculous amount of gorgeous and in shape women in the gym.

You mean the dumbell rack? I agree w/ that....they pick up the 30's and start doing reps and no one can get to the 20, 25, 35's (or the weights below).

It's not new. Smart man if he knows what he is doing with proper form. I just hope he didn't start with the barbell without progressing up to it. Cna be highly beneficial if done properly. Of course, a greater risk of injury is there.

There's no way in hell having 135 on your shoulders and jumping in the air is remotely safe under any circumstance. A normal squat puts enough pressure on your lower back and legs but jumping as well? Ludicrous and I for the life of me, see no benefit.
