To witness history in the Golden St. game? $7,500.

Who in their right mind would pay that money to see a shitty Kobe Bryant? I guess people with lots of money.

Lakers haven't been good for a little awhile now. Last good season was 2012. So all those rich LA types really haven't had any reason to shell out big bucks for a Laker game. Sure that has a lot to do with it. Pent-up demand.

GS will be playing bigger games than this in a few weeks. And Memphis is terrible.

Hall of famers retire almost every year.
Teams have won 73 games in a season exactly 0 times.

The only way I'd watch is if Kobe was running around with 9 hot naked blondes and that's even pushing it.

Cmon now. Obviously it's understandable if you think golden state is bigger

But saying you wouldn't even watch an all time greats last game if it was free is just silly

Cruise how much would you need to have in cash to want to shell out 27 for Kobe's final game.

I'd say maybe 15 million, but they would need to let me shoot a 3 at halftime too.

At least 10 mil but it should include a meet and greet and a handy from his wife.

I saw his last game in indy. 4th row and free company tickets. Can't beat that.

In my opinion, Kobe Bryant doesn't sniff the jock straps of the greats I've watched play in the NBA. I realize you're a young fella and growing up in hip hop nation has provided you with a different perspective but I can name 10 guys right now I'd pay that money to see play their last game over the bean.

Bird, Jordan, I. Thomas, Hakeem, Malone, Stockton, Clyde, Barkley and many others.

Justine, most of the posters on this forum watched those guys play. Kobe is a joke compared to them IMO.

i would not go that far.
He was better then many of the people on your list but I would have payed more to watch him 10 years ago then tonight.
I just don't see the significance of watching him play his very last game unless I was just a die hard or family member .

He will never be further from his prime and older playing in an NBA game then tonight.

Nobody ever talks about watching Willie Mays play his last game for the New York Mets .

Who cares.

I got to see Kobe play in person in his prime several times .And I payed regular price.
That to me is worth more then what I would see tonight.

So all these people 20 years from now gonna get to brag about paying 27k to watch Kobe score 10 points on 3-16 from her field in a 30 point blowout.

I'll refrain from responding too harshly so I don't hurt your delicate sensitivity.

Call me Justine but every time a guy on here says something you don't like you cry like a female about him getting personal and leave for a week.

I'm 30 and watched every guy on your list play.

Karl Malone and john Stockton better career than Kobe LOL

Kobe is a joke compared to Clyde? Come on. You may not like Kobe, his style or the generation he played in, but he's still an all-timer. I do miss the early 90s NBA though. Robinson v Olajuwon, Barkley v Malone, Jordan v Drexler. Good stuff.

how much were seats at the beginning of the season? might be a good investment when the next big name player is going to retire. Although no one soon is going to bring in that Kobe type of money.
