When I was in my late teens and money was scarce I was cautious of not paying to much and finding the best price. Once I had a job and start making a little money and then that worry seemed to disappear. The older I get the more cautious I am of prices and know when something is too much, especially at the grocery store. I am not an "extreme couponer" but I am a guy who will spend an extra minute to save a buck. I frequently use sites like:

www.retailmenot.com
always before online shopping. The www.Ebates.com is a must have.

Anyone know of any other sites worth looking at or programs like Ebates?

www.techbargains.com isn't too shabby, although its more of a deal site. www.jet.com is starting to grow on me. They remind me of how Amazon was when it started.

I like Target's cartwheel and gift cards back on purchases. Their prices have gotten better as a whole anyhow, and their scenery is unbeatable! Headed there late night in a few...lol

initial sticker prices are grossly inflated at kohls...if you pay retail there you are a moron.

"fake discounts"...go to Kohl's, buy 3 shirts, pair of pants and socks, they will charge you $129 and tell you the real price was $387 and you saved 66% today....bs

I do like Kohl's. I usually buy dress shirts from there. Nothing too fancy but $19.99 for shirt and tie.
Some of their retail pricing is way over inflated but still snag the details on sale days and they are generous with the Coupons.
It also helps that they are just a few miles down the road from me lol
