Nice! I'll have to pencil that in, and hopefully, I can make it. I don't know anyone here all that well yet, but I'm sure that will change, the longer that I stick around. I see all the same names everyday, and I'd like to meet all you guys and put a face with your names. I hit a 3-team run line parlay in baseball last night, $150 for $2,000, so I changed my reservations, and I'm staying at Bally's, Caesar's Palace, and MGM Grand, instead of the dirty IP!
Although the limits are not as high as some other shops in town and the sportsbook is not as elegant as say the MIRAGE, the IP is one of the most well ran sportsbooks in the entire city and they have more prop bets than any other book in the city also.
They have a very friendly sportsbook staff also.
I would be surprised if the majority of RX posters that attend the party dont find something of interest to bet in their sportsbook.
They have very unique future betting options there also like no other book in town.
Having lived in Vegas for 18 years, I miss not going in there from time to time.

not sure about the rates...The RX is just looking to do the PARTY there...im sure Green doberman might be able to get posters a break on room rates. but you do not have to stay there look for an offical announcement as soon as the details are ironed out

Guys I realize that the IP is not in the class of Bellagio, Caesars, etc.
However, we do have a good location, reasonable rates, nice looking cocktail servers, and a top-notch sportsbook.
If you haven't been there in a while, you'll be shocked at some of the changes in the casino.
Dante and the Shrink are working with a couple of the hosts and I am very hopeful we can host the party. If it ends up elsewhere, I'll be there.
Any of you coming to Vegas before the party are welcome to stop by and say hi to me as well.

As far as rates, Dante and Patriot, that is something that will have to be worked out with the people that handle that, I do not. But I can assure you the rates are more than competitive with the surrounding casinos. And if we have enough people staying there at the group rate, it will be very reasonably priced.
