Not sure if this happens in the NBA, but it's happened in the NHL a couple of times where a player from the losing team won the MVP.

I'd say Yes but it won't happen. Unless he just goes OFF tonight, for 50, gets no support from J.R. and Co. and they lose.

Has only happened once in NBA history. Jerry West about 50 years ago.

Maybe he should be MVP because he thinks he's the best player in the world.......I think they should give out the biggest ego MVP trophy to him after its all over

I hope it happens just to hear interview.......

Who wrote this for LJ?

“I wouldn’t feel good about it at all,” James said. “At the end of the day I’m here to win a team prize, and that’s to win a championship, not an individual prize.” :think2:

Yes most certainly. Therx has been on the cutting edge of that question.

That has been discussed at this place since before game 1.

ESPN is late to the game

If Cavs force a game 7 tonight, I think it will happen if they lose on the road.

That's the only way there is a chance. I think 0% if they lose tonight, 25% if they lose tomorrow night (assuming he puts up his usual 38/12/8 in each of the last 2 games).

What if lebron has a Triple Double tonight with 18 assists bringing his game avg to a triple double only to lose by a buzzer beater tip in by bogut?...Curry also has a 3/15 night from 3pt land.

I would say 25 to 30% chance if it goes 7 and they lose. Yea that's about right.

A lot depends on how they lose game 7.

What people need to think about is all the talking heads are already talking about this like crazy. And that's after game 5.

You can only imagine how much that talk is going to heat up if they win game 6.

You have to project how the media is going to react.

Based on how hot this topic already is after game 5 you can only imagine how hot this topic potentially will be after game 6.

This is going to be a real possibility of the Cavs win tonight.

As a matter of fact the only reason I put it at only 25% is because I half way expect the Cavs to get blown out in game 7.

If they lose a close game I put it fully at at least 50%

Without LeBron the series would of been over in four games. With the rest of the Cavs injuries, this would of been a four game slaughter. He's the only reason we still have a series.

There is no doubt he deserves the MVP regardless if he wins it or not
