Tim Couch says he's ready to leave the Cleveland Browns and would like to play for either of the two teams that are rumored to be interested in him.
Couch says Dallas or Pittsburgh are solid teams where he could contribute. He told The Plain Dealer that Cleveland coach Butch Davis told him yesterday afternoon that the team had signed quarterback Jeff Garcia, and asked if he wanted to stay as a backup. Couch says he turned down the offer and that his agent and the Browns wlill try to work out a trade.
If it doesn't happen soon, Couch likely will be released. The 26-year-old says he's a little anxious and a little excited because it feels like he's going into the draft again.
